Operational draft — obtain legal review before accepting paid migrations.

Migration review period

Customers have 14 calendar days after MoveMyCart confirms cutover completion to inspect the destination store and report migration-related issues through the MoveMyCart dashboard. Properly reported issues pause automatic closure while those issues are being addressed. After an issue is resolved, the customer receives at least 72 hours to review the correction.

Store freeze requirement

Before a full migration begins, the customer must place both the source store and destination store into maintenance mode and disable checkout, new order acceptance, automated imports, inventory updates, marketplace integrations and administrative data changes. This freeze must remain in effect until MoveMyCart confirms that migration, validation and cutover are complete.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that no products, customers, orders, inventory quantities, prices, images, content or other store records are created, modified or deleted in either store during the active migration period.

MoveMyCart cannot reliably detect, preserve, reconcile or transfer changes made while a migration is running. If either store remains active or is modified during migration, records may be omitted, duplicated, overwritten, mismatched or lost.

MoveMyCart is not responsible for missing, duplicated, overwritten, inconsistent or lost data resulting from failure to freeze either store, premature reopening, unauthorized administrative activity, third-party applications, scheduled imports, automated inventory updates, marketplace integrations or orders accepted during migration. Repair required because a store was not properly frozen is not included in the original price and may require a new paid migration.

Credentials and closure

Encrypted store credentials remain available while a migration is active so MoveMyCart can validate results and correct properly reported issues. Credentials are permanently deleted when the customer approves and closes the migration or when the 14-day review period expires without an open issue.

Once credentials are deleted, the migration cannot be reopened. Additional corrections, reruns, synchronization or transfers require a new paid migration and new store connections.

Customer backups

The customer remains responsible for maintaining independent backups and reviewing the destination before opening it to customers.
